  • Choir Performance at Blackburn Cathedral

    Our choir will be performing in 'Carols by the Music Berries' at Blackburn Cathedral on Thursday 17th December at 7pm.

     

    This concert is to raise money for NSPCC.

     

    Tickets for this event are available from school priced at £10 per adult, children are free but still require an entry ticket.

     

    Mrs Byrne will be sending letters home with a slip to purchase tickets from her.

     

    Please come along and support the school Choir.

     

     

  • Shoe Box Appeal 2015

    A huge thank you to everyone who sent shoe boxes in to school for the Shoe Box Appeal 2015.

     

    A very generous 42 shoe boxes have been collected from school and are on their way to give much needed help to people in need. no

  • Day 2 of Year 4's trip to Malham Tarn

    Today the children have been on a wildlife hunt (including finding a dinosaur footprint) and dissected some owl pellets (have a look at the pictures to see what they found).

     

    What an amazing couple of days Year 4 have had.

     

    Special thanks to Miss Longworth, Miss Watkins and Mrs Greene for giving up their time and making this a fantastic trip.

    Team work afternoon - having a brilliant time so far! Cold and wet but having too much fun to notice... (The fire and cake helps!)

     

    Followed by hot chocolate and campfire songs. Having a brilliant time! smiley

     

  • Children in Need

    We have raised a massivel £187 for Children In Need with today's non-uniform day.no

  • Remembrance Day Service

    The children beautifully observed the 2 minutes silence this morning at the War Memorial with Mr Carr delivering a very poignant performance of The Last Post.
     

    A group of children were also selected to pay their respects at the village cemetery with one pupil paying his personal respects to his great grandfather.

Start children off on the way they should go and even when they are old they will not turn from it.
