Values in the Community
Wed 10 Jun 2015We were so proud to hear that two of our children, Ben and Charlotte Moore have been demonstrating the values of Respect and Responsibility in the community when they helped a neighbour with a garden they were struggling to keep on top of themselves. Well done to them both. -
Sports Day
Tue 09 Jun 2015What a fabulous sports day we had today. It was so lovely to see so many family members come to support the children. We are so proud of how well the children participated and behaved. Well done to all the children who won their races and well done to all the children for giving their best effort through the afternoon. Thank you to all the staff for their support and to Miss Watkins for arranging the afternoon which ran so smoothly. ⭐️ -
Y5 Sports Visit
Mon 08 Jun 2015Year 5 spent a great day at Blackburn College where professional coaches from Blackburn Harriers, Pro Basketball players and College sports lecturers put them through their paces. What an enjoyable and healthy way to spend the day with a lot of fun thrown in for good measure. -
Witton Athletics
Mon 08 Jun 2015The children made a great start at the Darwen schools athletics competition and were so enthusiastic despite the rain and very wet conditions. It was a shame that the event had to be cancelled part way through and we are hoping that the competition will be completed on the reserve date of 22nd June. We will keep you updated about what is going to happen next. ☔️☀️ -
Cricket success
Fri 05 Jun 2015The cricket team are continuing in winning form with a 271 to 217 victory against St Peter's Darwen. Well done to all the team and Mrs Fenwick. Brilliant result. 🌟 -
England and Lancashire Cricket Player Visits school

Key Stage 2 have had a fabulous morning with a visit from Kate Cross who plays cricket for England and Lancashire. Kate talked with the children and then ran some skills workshops. Look out on the sports page for more information and pictures.
