  • Cross Country Success

    Tue 17 Mar 2015

Well done to all the children who represented school at the Cross Country event. The event began with a minutes applause in memory of Keth McDonald who was a Headteacher in Darwen for many years and who was passionate about running. He touched the lives of so many children and adults and influenced good practice in many schools as a school adviser. He will be sorely missed by so many people.

A special well done to Y5/6 boys who were overall winners and Y5/6 girls who came 3rd overall.

Thank you to Miss Watkins for organising the event and to all the staff who volunteered to make the competition run so smoothly.
