  • Netball Stars

    Tue 14 Apr 2015

We couldn't be more proud of our Netball Team who were very close runners up in the Darwen School Netball leagues final with St Cuthbert's winning the match by 12 goals to 9.

It was a fantastic match with such super team work and great individual performances. Well done to Anja who was selected as Player of the Match. The girls received their medals as winners of their league and deserved the praise which was lavished on them by St Cuthbert's and the adults who came along to watch and support the girls. A big well done and thank you to Mrs Greene who has dedicated so much of her own time to coach the girls into such a great, confident and talented team.

  • No going back.......

    Mon 30 Mar 2015
Well, the building work is well on its way. The hall no longer has a floor and you can now see the extension taking shape. We also had a huge crane on site today to add the new heating system onto the roof. Very excitiing.
  • Easter Egg Hunt

    Fri 27 Mar 2015
It was an amazing sight to see all the children working in groups on a massive Easter egg hunt. As always the behaviour of the children was excellent. A big Thank You to Miss Longworth and the School Council for organising this popular event.
  • Happy Easter

    Fri 27 Mar 2015
Have a lovely safe and happy Easter.
  • Skip2Bfit

    Thu 26 Mar 2015

The children (and staff) had a fun and very energetic time at our behaviour reward day. The children loved the 2 minute skipping challenge and well done to Lewis in Y6 who became our childrens champion. The ever so slighlty competative staff at St. Paul's joined in the challenge and the overall champion was Mrs Greene who  set a mammoth task of 370 skips in 2 minutes to beat.

The sessions were finsihed off with a lovely tray of delicious blueberries and a few lucky parents who arrived early got a surprise treat of the last few trays of  blueberries.

  • Parent Governors

    Wed 25 Mar 2015
We are very pleased to welcome Mrs Mallord and Mr South to the Governing Body. I am sure they will both work hard in this voluntary role on behalf of all the parents and children at St Paul's.

So in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others
